- When a Local Affiliate has carriage rights for a college game, the National Network scheduled to carry it is blacked-out in that area
- Viewers in these areas see the game on the Local Affiliate; the National Network shows a Temp Off Air message or alternate content
- Viewers outside these areas see the game on the National Network as scheduled; the Local Affiliate has alternate content
