- Start Over: the ability to play a show from the beginning while it is still airing, up to the end of the show stream according to the Guide data
- Catch Up: the ability to play a show after it airs within a certain availability window (48 hours)
- Available on:
- IPTV boxes
- TiVo devices on TiVo Experience 4
- IPTV boxes
- Limitations
- Not available on all shows or channels
- Depending on the channel/content, may be subject to the No Fast Forward rules
- Cannot be recorded
- Not available on all shows or channels
Resolution Steps
When Start Over/Catch Up is available, you'll see an icon 
next to the program
Restarting a show From Live TV
- Tune to the currently airing show
- Press Info button to bring up channel information banner
- If Start Over/Catch Up is enabled, a message Press & hold OK to restart shows is above the channel information
- Press & hold OK. Playback jumps to the beginning of the show
Restarting a show From The Guide
- Press Guide
- Select a currently-airing show that has the Start Over/Catch Up icon
- Scroll to the selection with the Start Over/Catch Up icon
- Press & hold OK. Playback jumps to the beginning of the show
Catching Up on a show
- Press Guide
- Select a previously aired show that has the icon identifying that displays the Start Over/Catch Up icon
- If broadcast 48 hours ago or less, you can select Watch Now
- If broadcast more than 48 hours ago, you can select Watch now from VOD
- Press & hold OK. Playback jumps to the beginning of the show
