Introduction

 

Legacy email accounts like erols.com and starpower.net need special settings to receive email addressed outside those domains

 

Resolution Steps

Strict Delivery is ON by default 
 

• Log in to UserTools with the username and password and click the Strict Delivery link to see if Strict Delivery in enabled

• Strict Delivery mail users only receive email addressed to the domain name in the email address
   
  • Example: Erols domains only get email addressed to @erols.com
     
• When Strict Delivery is OFF, mail users receive email addressed to @rcn.com, @starpower.net and @erols.com
