Introduction

• IPTV broadcasts need to be received, encoded and delivered via IP which takes a few more seconds to complete than older traditional cable set top boxes.
   
• Please note, this is no different than other MSO's that use the same technology to deliver live Content (Sling, Fubo, YouTubeTV, etc).

 

 

Resolution Steps

If your customer is saying it's much longer than a few seconds, try the following:
 

1. Ensure the IPTV box is looking at Live TV. Fast forward the program to the end point of the status bar
    
2. Power cycle the IPTV box
